Aga Khan Upset St George, Laiser Hammer Muvuti in Nairobi - Mar 25, 2016

Schools on Thursday continued to battle for honours in the Regional Secondary Schools Term One Games. In Coast Region, Aga Khan Academy upset boys' basketball champions St George's 39-33 at Kenyatta High. Aga Khan recovered from 23-20 at halftime outscore their opponents in the last two quarters 7-6 and 12-4 respectively. Aga Khan coach Jimnah Kimani attributed his team's win to hard work and a change in tactics at halftime. "Our opponents are very tall and we had to change tactics," he said. Kwale County champions Mazeras High beat hosts Kenyatta High 57-42 in another match.
Newton Juma and Okwak Kedias scored for the St Anthony's. In boys' basketball, Kapenguria High silenced St. Joseph's 43-22, Friends School Kamusinga beat Chavakali 45-15, and Kimilili hammered Lodwar 50-13.

Thunder trounce Co-op Bank at Strathmore courts - 8 days ago
Thunder registered a stunning 79-75 victory over Co-op Bank in a fiercely contested Premier League clash at Strathmore University courts. The self-supporting Thunder, who missed the injured star guard Griffin Ligare were superb taking the opening quarter 24-17 before trailing 21-17 in the second. Co-op were up 38-36 at the breather. Ulinzi suffer shock loss at the hands of Umoja - 15 days ago
Former national champions Ulinzi Warriors suffered a shock 54-48 defeat at the hands of Umoja in a premier league clash played at Nyayo Stadium gymnasium. The winners got off to a 15-13 first quarter edge and never looked back, ripping the only unbeaten run in the league. Nick Ogoll managed 13 points for Umoja and Erick Mutoro posted 18 for the soldiers.
