Ghana Police, Reformers of Prisons and Navy Warriors have all but booked their ticket to the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men's Division I campaign next season by winning games this past week to occupy the top three spots.

With the season set to end on Saturday November 18, the wins over Tudu Galaxy, Dunk Knights and Junior Rangers have proved crucial in unofficially sealing progress to the elite division.

Prisons opened the round on a blistering note by pummeling Knights 91-63 to tentatively take over possession of the league's summit ahead of Police' tie against Tudu Galaxy. Novas Academy beat Spartans 52-45 in the final game to condemn the latter side to the basement of the standings.

On Friday, Warriors beat Rangers 59-46 to leapfrog Panthers into third place in the standings and complete the trio of teams set to play in next season's Division I campaign. Panthers on the other hand, surprisingly lost 66-67 in overtime to Junior Reformers with the young Reformers side ending the game with three players on the court after Forward
Jeffrey Abakisi and Guard Godwin Tetteh fouled out.

In the final pair of games for the round, Akatsi Riles beat CYO 72-60 in the opening game before Police regained top spot by blowing Galaxy away with an 87-46 win.
