Former NBA Player turned Broadcaster Stephen Bardo was the main attraction at a one day basketball clinic organized earlier today at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu with players from Galaxy Basketball Academy participating. Tagged 'Bardo's Breakdown', the ex Detroit Pistons and Dallas Mavericks Guard who played 10 years of professional basketball in the US and Italy, led participants through numerous basketball drills aimed at developing fundamental skills of players.

Bardo who is a renowned motivational speaker, tutored players on life lessons like sacrifice, hard work and discipline that make players better on the court and off the court.

Participants ages ranged between 10 and 18 and Bardo was joined by 2017 Miss United Nations Rebecca Asamoah who gave a talk to empower the youth to become better players and people in society.

The former ESPN Analyst who works with TBN (The Big Ten Network)praised the level of commitment and skills from participants and was quoted saying 'his expectations had been exceeded'.

The program is the first of a busy week in Ghana as NBA Champion David West of Golden State Warriors touches down in Ghana for the third straight year. His visit this time around is to headline a camp of his own with current and former NBA players TJ Warren, Rasual Butler and Pops Mensah-Bonsu.
