Tudu Magic has lost the battle of the two sides in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men's Division I following a 73-84 loss to Tema Youth at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu. The game which pits league leaders Magic against second placed Tema got off to a slow start with Tema edging the home side 19-17 in the first quarter before completely blowing them out in the second courtesy a 40-28 lead at the end of the half.

Both teams traded baskets in the third quarter before Tema's Enoch Borsah delivered a vicious slam. However, the final quarter descended into a three point battle between Tema's Ebenezer Borsah and Magic's Elvis Pobi Siaw as both men made four baskets from beyond the arc respectively but Magic was not able to wipe out the deficit to lose its third game in six for the season. Tema moves to four wins in five games.

DC Dynamics' winless this season continues as the side failed to get past Fire Service. DC lost 57-61 to the only side yet to beaten this campaign despite a furious rally in the closing minutes of the game. Matters stayed close throughout the game as Dynamics tagged along the whole way.

Dynamics Guard Lantei Blankson-Mills scored seven points including a three point shot off a feed from Center and Captain Dennis Boateng who returned to the side after picking up an injury in the first game of the season.

Forwards Farahat Tamimu and Benjamin Sowah chipped away points for Fire but Shooting Guard David Laryea went off and scored 13 straight points including three makes from the three point line to stretch the lead to nine before fouling out with 1:50 left to play.

DC's Sena Asante replicated a shooting clinic of his own to pull within four of Fire's mark but it proved futile as his side lost its third straight game. Fire has won all four games played this season.
