Marshalls University College and All Nations University College have made it to the knockout phase of the 2017 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship set to be played at the University of Ghana (UG) on April 7 and 8.

Ahead of the Championship, Marshalls and All Nations have put themselves in the best shape to compete keenly for spots in the semifinals by making impressive appearances in the PUSAG basketball competition.

The Private Universities Sports Associations Games is a multi sport event for privately owned tertiary institutions in Ghana and the 10th edition is wrapping up at the Cape-Coast Sports Stadium in the West African country's Central Region capital.

Both teams made it to the final game where Marshalls brushed All Nations aside with a 35-10 win; Marshalls was utterly dominant as the side led 20-4 at one point in the game. The win earns Marshalls back to back PUSAG titles after winning the event in 2016.

All Nations is in UPAC's Group B with University of Development Studies, University of Energy and Natural Resources and two time winners Accra Technical University.

Marshalls is in the tough looking Group A alongside University of Ghana, University of Cape-Coast and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
