After a jerky start to the 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) season, Braves of Customs is back on track in the wake of impressive wins in recent outings. Braves Male side obliterated Adenta Leopards in the Men's Division I while its Female side recorded a 45-28 win over University of Ghana (UG) in the Women's Division.

Braves completed dominated play from start to finish over Leopards who have been handed a rude awakening in the division after an impressive start. Following a 64-39 beatdown by Tema Youth earlier in an outstanding game, Leopards completely lost it to the veteran side.

A 70-31 lead after the third quarter courtesy a Jeffrey Djimatey buzzer beating three point shot, quickly turned into a comfortable showing for Braves in the final quarter as several players were rested for Suleman Abubakar to slam dunk the emphatic win.

In the following game, Ghana Navy lost its fourth straight game of the season off a 38-50 loss to Tudu Magic. Matters remained close in the early minutes of the game as Magic took a 19-14 lead as it trio of Guards Nii Lamptey, Elvis Pobi-Siaw and Eric Quaye got hot from the three point line.

Navy got quality production from big Center Eric Adorku down the stretch but the damage had already been done.

Navy's Female side fared better in the Women's Division with a 46-37 win over Fire Service; the win was Navy's second of the season.Braves on the other hand got past UG 45-28 as it recovers from the disappointing season opening loss to Tudu Galaxy.
