Tema Youth leads Accra Basketball League - Mar 22, 2017

Tema Youth's brilliant week has been rewarded with a top of the table rank in the 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men's Division I standings. The side beat eternal rival and defending champions Braves of Customs 84-78 in overtime and capped the splendid performance off with a 72-65 win over Ghana Navy.

While its first victory o the young season was a masterpiece, the second did not have the same effects as Navy played a very physical game that resulted in a lot of stoppages and trips to the free throw line.

DC Dynamics poor start to the season puts the side in fourth place without any wins only ahead of Braves and Ghana Navy due to playing more games than the aforementioned pair.
Fire Service is yet to play this season and sits in last place in the standings; Fire takes on Tudu Magic in the opening round of midweek games slated to take place later today at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

Ghana Navy plays Adenta Leopards in the final game of the day with the former in need of a win after losing to Tema. Below is the full standing:

Ghana Navy and Braves of Customs have claimed impressive wins in today's round of games played In the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women's Division.
