Ghana Center Amida Brimah and Power Forward Ernest Aflakpui were in action as University of Connecticut and Temple University faced off for the second time this season but neither player from the West African nation put up a good performance.

UCONN won 64-63 thanks to a Jalen Adams layup with 2.3 seconds left to play to give UCONN its 14th win of the campaign. The win is the Huskies its second win of the season over Temple.

Both players underperformed with four points apiece. Brimah complemented his scoring effort with a rebound and a block in 18 minutes of action while Aflakpui rounded up his night with three rebounds, an assist and a block in just 15 minutes.

The first time both teams met, UCONN beat Temple 73-59 in front of its home crowd at Gampel Pavilion, Connecticut. In that game, both players performed slightly better particularly Brimah who scored 13 points and added three rebounds and six blocks.

Second year Forward Aflakpui scored six points and recorded four rebounds. Fourth year Center Brimah made a run at the NBA by declaring for the Draft last year before pulling out.
