The NBA's Basketball Without Borders Camp will have no representative from Ghana for this year as no player from the West African nation received an invitation to attend the Camp.
The event will be held between February 17-19 in the shadows of the 66th NBA All-Star Weekend in New Orleans.

15 male and female high school players got call ups to the camp with Mali and Angola leading the way; four players were called up from Mali and three players from Africa powerhouse Angola made the cut.
The news come as a major blow considering the country oozes talented young players who have thrived in major tournaments like the Sprite Ball Championship.

Representatives from countries on the continent include Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria, Senegal, Egypt and Tunisia.
In all, 67 players from different countries and continents will be taken through several sessions by former and current NBA players.

Denver Nuggets Emmanuel Mudiay, Thon Maker of the Milwaukee Bucks and Cheick Diallo of home team New Orleans Pelicans are players with ties to Africa included in the coaching team.

Toronto Raptors General Manager Masai Ujiri is the Camp Director for this year's edition. Participants get to join in on the festivities including the BBVA Rising Star Challenge and All-Star Game.
