2017 UPAC set for February 17 start - Feb 3, 2017

The 2017 edition of the Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship is slated for a February 17 tip off.

Regarded as Ghana's most prestigious tertiary basketball tournament, this year's competition has 28 teams represent institutions from all three sectors at the tertiary level with
four teams, Koforidua Technical University (KTU), Maritime University College, KAAF University College and All Nations University College, set to make their debut appearance.

All teams have been placed in seven zones and only zone winners qualify for the latter stages due to be held in the nation's capital Accra between April 6 and 8.
Reigning Champions University of Ghana (UG) and beaten finalist Accra Technical University (ATU) have been placed in Zone D and E respectively and play their preliminary games on March 10and March 16. Below is the schedule for the upcoming Championship:

Magic loses to Tema as DC continues winless run - 7 days ago
Tudu Magic has lost the battle of the two sides in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men's Division I following a 73-84 loss to Tema Youth at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
