David Cournooh leaves the Flexx Pistoia - Jan 13, 2017

Cournooh
27-year old Italian international guard David Cournooh (187-83kg-90, agency: Interperformances) left The Flexx Pistoia (Serie A). In 14 games he recorded 6.4ppg and 2.1rpg this season.
The last season he played at Enel Brindisi where in 28 Serie A games he averaged 8.0ppg, 2.6rpg and 2.0apg. Cournooh also played 8 games in Eurocup where he had 7.3ppg, 1.6rpg and 2.8apg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the Italian Cup Final Four in 2015. Cournooh was selected to Italian SerieA All-Star Game back in 2013 and 2014.
He is a dual citizen owning also Ghanian passport.
He has been also a member of Italian international program for some years. Cournooh has regularly played for Italian senior team since 2016 and previously for U20 National Team between 2009 and 2010.
He also represented Italy at the Mediterranean Games in Mersin (Turkey) four years ago.
Cournooh has played previously for six other teams: Fortituto Kontatto Bologna, Mens Sana 1871 Siena, Bondi Ferrara, Imola, Siena Virtus and Novipiu Casale.
The scouts decsribe him following way: Not so tall to play the SG, neither a great outside shooter, but he's very quick and athletic. Great upside if he will add some passing and court vision.
