Reformers of Prisons began the winning assault with a stunning 58-52 win over home side Tudu Magic in the ongoing 2016 Accra Basketball League Men's Division I playoffs with the sixth seed scoring a big win over the third seed in front of Magic' home crowd at the Lebanon House in Tudu.

Checking in and out of the game Reformers Center Aziz Mohammed scored the final four points of the game with the last two coming from the free throw line to make the win safe for his side.

Playing a day after the original schedule, Ghana Navy and Fire Service delivered an intense and very physical encounter which the latter won 59-57. Fire's top execution from deep earned the win as Guards Gilbert Wood and Daniel Amartey combined for five three point shots in the third and fourth quarter. Navy Guard Joe Ayieattah narrowly missed out on a half court buzzer beater to win the tie for his side.

Having lost in the opening round, Magic and Teshie Rangers, who lost 41-66 to defending champions Braves of Customs took turns firing away from the three point arc but it was Magic who scored in other ways to register the win in a largely drab game.

Navy is set to play DC Dynamics later today at the Lebanon House Court.
