Tema Youth and Braves of Customs registered impressive wins over DC Dynamics and Teshie Rangers respectively in the 2016 Accra Basketball League Men's Division I playoffs which took place at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

Tema beat Dynamics 47-42 after defending champions and number one seed Braves had delivered a professional performance in downing Rangers 66-41. Dynamics trailed 11-24 at half time but a quick fire 9-2 run in the third against the second seeded team gave life to its chances of causing a major upset.

Matters remained fairly close through the game as Dynamics even had the chance to tie the score at 45 with less than two minutes left to play but Guard Lantei Blankson-Mills missed all three attempts from the free throw line to put Tema in the driver's seat.

Braves on the other hand, did not sweat so much in putting Rangers away but the side failed to repeat the hug score line it recorded when both teams played in the regular season. Rangers played better overall and delivered on Coach Wisdom Etsorgali's promise that his side will compete.

Dynamics and Rangers will play against losers of the Ghana Navy-Fire Service and Reformers of Prisons-Tudu Magic games which takes place later today.
