The 2016 Accra Basketball League Men's Division I playoff games have been postponed in order to avoid divided attention and clash with the Peace Hoops Basketball Tournament currently underway at the Lebanon House Court.

The games which were originally planned to be played on September 30 and October 1 have been rescheduled to take place between October 5 and October 8 that will enable Peace Hoops organizers conclude the final stage of the competition on Saturday.

On Wednesday September 28, the regular season ended under bizarre circumstances as the final game of the season between Braves of Customs and Tudu Magic did not take place.
The game was rearranged to tip off at the Lebanon House Court at 14:00 GMT after the tie was rained off on two prior occasions with the last one ending in the third quarter and Braves leading 22-20.

However, both teams failed to turn up after agreeing to the new time from the league board leading to Braves being awarded maximum points via a default win.

That means Braves end the season unbeaten in nine games and have secured the first seed with Magic settling in third place in the standings with 15 points. This means Braves will play eight seed Teshie Rangers and second seed Tema Youth will play DC Dynamics.

Reformers of Prisons take on Tudu Magic as Ghana Navy takes on Fire Service.
