Tema Youth moved back into title contention following a 57-49 win over Reformers of Prisons which was the team's second in as many games. Accra Basketball League (ABL) defending champions Braves of Customs headlined a group of winners in the fourth round of Ghana's maiden basketball league. The list of winners included Teshie Rangers, who beat Holy Family 54-51 and Tema Youth who defeated Reformers of Prisons 57-49. REIGNING CHAMPS AND AIR FORCE WIN BIG IN ABL - May 27, 2016

Defending champions of the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women's Division, Braves of Customs beat Navy 55-30 in a fourth round game played at the Prisons Court in Cantonments, Accra. The game was preceded by Air Force' 42-29 win over Fire Service in the opening game. Both teams went into their respective ties with wins from previous contests.
