UPAC 2017 tipoff rescheduled to Feb.24 - 2 days ago
The 2017 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship start has been moved from February 17 to 24 after organizers Rite Sports Limited cancelled the original date for commencing the competition. Ghana Center Amida Brimah and Power Forward Ernest Aflakpui were in action as University of Connecticut and Temple University faced off for the second time this season but neither player from the West African nation put up a good performance. Amida on board as UCONN rally to victory - 5 days ago
Ghana Center Amida Brimah got in on the act as University of Connecticut (UCONN) rallied to beat University of Memphis 65-62 after falling behind in the first half. The fourth year player scored 11 points, grabbed three rebounds, made two steals and recorded a block for UCONN's 13th win of the season.
