Texas Legends inked experienced 35-year old Gabonese center Stephane Lasme (203-98kg-82, college: Massachusetts). He played most recently at Galatasaray in Turkish BSL league. In 36 games he averaged 11.6ppg, 6.2rpg and 1.6bpg last season. Lasme helped them to make it to the semifinals. Gabon awarded wild card for 2016 FIBA Africa U18 Championship - 11 months ago
Gabon have been awarded a wild card to take part in this month's 2016 FIBA Africa U18 Championship, it was announced on Tuesday following a decision made by the FIBA Africa Board. The continental tournament will take place in Kigali, Rwanda, from 22-31 July.
