Oberwart Gunners bolstered their roster. They added Buay Tuach (198-G/F-95, college: Loyola Mary) for the upcoming season. The Ethiopian swingman has just graduated from Loyola Mary. He tallied 11.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game in his senior season. Buay Tuach received All-WCC Honorable Mention.

RWANDA's Patriots Basketball Club kicked off their quest for a first FIBA Africa Zone 5 Championship title by demolishing Hawusa City of Ethiopia 110-43 on Sunday.
