Thomas Kelati (195-G/F-82, college: Washington St.) finished his wondeful season for Turow in ULEB CUP. Last night Dynamo Moscow overcame Polish Turow Zgorzelec and did not allow them to advance. Russian squad took the control from the early beginning and led the game to 78:63. Henry Domercant led the winners with 22 points. Milos Vujanic nailed 16 points, while Robertas Javtokas scored 15. David Logan top-scored for Turow with 19 points, while Thomas Kelati netted 15.
Henry Domercant not only top-scored for the winners, but also set up a new ULEB Cup elimination rounds record for more shots from downtown made without a miss. He nailed six out of six three-pointers and looking forward for a semifinal countdown.Vujanic capped a 7:0 Dynamo run but Thomas Kelati answered with a seven-meter bomb to keep Turow on track. Robertas Javtokas kept Dynamo ahead 25:17 as the teams finished the opening quarter. It was again Thomas Kelati who tied the score at 25:25 as his Turow enjoyed a 10-0 run for a 27:25 advantage. Vujanic drove a layup to fix Dynamo's halftime advantage at 43:38. Third quarter became the decisive in the game as Dynamo started to increase. Robertas Javtokas spurted Dynamo's run for 59:45. Thomas Kelati tried to ignite a Turow comeback with free throws while Skecic added a layup for 59:49 deficit, but the game did not belong to them. Hansen broke the game open at 66:51 and Dynamo celebrated the total 78:63 win after four quarters.

Defending champion Stelmet Zielona Gora (TBL) agreed terms with experienced 34-year old Polish ex-international swingman Thomas Kelati (195-91kg-82, college: Washington State, agency: BeoBasket). He is a dual citizen owning also Eritrean passport. Kelati has played for the last two seasons at UCAM Murcia in Spanish Liga Endesa. In 36 games he had 5.6ppg and 1.4rpg last season. Artland Dragons (ProB) tabbed 27-year old naturalized Eritrean forward Jonathan Mesghna (198-89, college: Mont.St.-Billings). He has played for the last two years at Hebeisen White Wings Hanau (ProA). In 29 games he averaged 3.8ppg and 2.4rpg last season. Thomas Kelati extends deal with UCAM Murcia - 2 Years ago
Thomas Kelati (195-G/F-82, agency: Beo Basket, college: Washington St.) has extended the deal with UCAM Murcia. The guard will spend one more season in Spain. Thomas Kelati joined UCAM Murcia in February 2014. He averaged 6.7 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists per appearance in Liga Endesa last season. Previously Thomas Kelati had stints in Russia, Poland, Greece and Belgium. He was named All-Polish League Player of the Year back in 2007.   [read more]
