Kai King
It was a hard fought game, Six Stars the underdogs, had new players who just joined the team. One Kai King (182-G-85, college: Chaffey CC), new acquired import from California had sat the previous game against Mongomo Basket. With Kai King, Melo Childs, and a few locals with talent maybe Six Stars could be a dark horse against the definite favorite Malabo Kings. Kai King and Melo Childs came out like with styphoning pressure defense. A number of turnovers ensued and before you knew it, the Kings were down 20 to 8. Kai King lead the charge in the first half with 10, having 8 points in the first opening minutes of the game. Eventually like the champions they were the year before, the kings regrouped and mounted a change. Eventually beating the newly formed and unexperienced Six Stars team. Kai King was the leading scorer with 25 points, 5 assist and 5 rebounds also adding 2 steals. Melo Childs chipped in 27 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assist. A great game for the imports of Six Stars in there debue against the juggernaunt the Malabo Kings. Looks like fans of Six Stars have something to cheer for Kai King and Melo Childs look like a amazing tandum that could help Six Stars over the hump and they may possibly make some noise as the season goes on.

Nguema is back at Caceres - 2 Years ago
Caceres Patrimonio de la Humanidad (LEB Silver) agreed terms with 27-year old Spaniard point guard Richard Nguema (191-88). It is actually his comeback to Caceres Basket as he played here before. Nguema started the season at Malabo Kings in Equatorial Guinean D1 league. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the Spanish LEB Gold Play-Off Semifinals in 2013. Nguema was also voted Afrobasket.com All-African Champions Cup Honorable Mention in 2014.    [read more]
