Omar Tarek got the MVP of Arab Nations Cup after his great performance in the tournament. Omar Tarek(218-C-91)is the former player of USC (NCAA1) and the recent player of Gezera club in Egypt. He is very interesting prospect for the center position. Has yet great athletic skills, and a good timing for rebounds and shot blocking which help Egypt to achieve the cup after defeating Morocco in the final 96-90 in a close game.   [read more]
Egypt is the champion of Arab cup for national teams - 9 days ago
After a big final game against Morocco, Egypt got the title of the Arab National Teams Cup by beating Morocco 96-90. The half time finished with the leading of Morocco by 9 points 51-42. Egypt dominated the game in the second half due to the great effort of Omar Tarek, Ypusef Shosha and Moataz Okasha. The arab cup was a good opportunity for Egypt to prepare for the Zone 5 qualification to FIBA Africa 2017 which will be in Cairo on 12 March 2017.   [read more]
