Here is the weekly review of the top performing DR Congolese players, who play currently abroad.

Emmanuel Mudiay
Emmanuel Mudiay
#1. This week's number one is an international guard Emmanuel Mudiay (196-96, agency: 3Eye, currently plays in NBA). He contributed to an easy victory against the Los Angeles Lakers (8-15) 115-100 in the NBA on Saturday night. Mudiay recorded 8 points in 15 minutes on the court. The Denver Nuggets have 13-10 record this season. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. Mudiay has relatively good stats this year: 10.0ppg, 2.9rpg, 3.3apg, 2FGP: 38.7%, 3FGP: 40.3% and FT: 77.4% in 23 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the DR Congolese senior national team.

Chadrack Lufile
Chadrack Lufile
#2. Second place goes to an international forward Chadrack Lufile (206-90, college: Wichita St., currently plays in Chile). He led Puerto Montt to a 1-point victory against the fourth-ranked CD Castro (6-12) 86-85 in the Chilean Liga Nacional last Wednesday. Lufile scored 13 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 23 minutes. It was his first game for Puerto Montt this season. His team is placed fifth in Conferencia Sur. Lufile has a dual citizenship: Canadian and DR Congolese. He is in the roster of the DR Congolese senior national team.

Jonathan Malu
Jonathan Malu
#3. The DR Congolese player who performed third best last week abroad was an international power forward Jonathan Malu (200-93, currently plays in Germany). Malu contributed to Ehingen/Urspringschule's victory against the closely-ranked Gladiators (4-8) 84-76 in the German ProA (second division) on Sunday night. He scored 8 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Team Ehingen Urspring (3-9) is placed second from the bottom (#15) in the ProA. It's Malu's first season with the team. This year Malu averages: 7.0ppg, 6.8rpg, 1.8apg, 2FGP: 45.5%. He is another player who holds two passports: DR Congolese and German. Despite Malu played previously for the German U20 national team, he is currently a member of the DR Congolese senior national team.

Djo Yele
Djo Yele
#4. An experienced forward Djo Yele (203-82, currently plays in Norway) contributed to a 1-point Asker Aliens' victory against the sixth-ranked Fyllingen BBK (6-8) 89-88 in the Norwegian BLNO last Sunday. Yele recorded 7 points. Asker Aliens BC (15-0) is placed first in the BLNO. So far his team won all fifteen games in the Regular Season. Yele is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his sixth year in Asker Aliens' roster. This season he has relatively solid stats: 12.5ppg, 6.4rpg, 1.5apg and 1.1spg. Yele is also DR Congolese national team player.

Omari Gudul
Omari Gudul
#5. International forward Omari Gudul (206-94, agency: Two Points, college: Angelo St., currently plays in Spain). He could not help Joventut (0-2) to beat Unicaja Malaga (5-5). Gudul cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. He recorded only 2 points. Joventut was defeated 86-74 on the road by the lower-ranked Unicaja Malaga (#8). This season Gudul averages just 0.8ppg. He plays currently for the DR Congolese national team.

The list of other players, who all have DR Congolese passport but never been selected to any of DR Congolese national teams:

#1. Charles Kahudi (199-SF-86, currently plays in France) was the major contributor in an ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket's victory against the league leader Le Mans (8-3) 79-71 in the French ProA in Saturday night's game. He scored 18 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 32 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (7-4) is placed third in the ProA. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Kahudi has relatively good stats this year: 10.4ppg, 3.9rpg and 1.8apg in 10 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: DR Congolese and French.

#2. Christian Eyenga (201-SF-89, currently plays in Spain). Eyenga could not help Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (7-3) to beat Gipuzkoa (4-6). He recorded 7 points. Baloncesto Fuenlabrada was defeated 81-76 on the road by the much lower-ranked Gipuzkoa (#13). But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Eyenga's first year with the team. Eyenga has relatively good stats this season: 11.5ppg and 4.6rpg.

#3. Bismack Biyombo (206-C-92, currently plays in NBA) was not able to help the Orlando Magic in their game against the Golden State Warriors (19-6) in the NBA. Biyombo scored 7 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. The Orlando Magic (10-15) was crushed 133-112 in Oakland by the Golden State Warriors. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. This season Biyombo averages: 4.3ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.2bpg.

#4. Bambale Osby (203-C-86, agency: Octagon Europe, college: Maryland, currently plays in Estonia) was not able to secure a victory for TLU/Kalev (3-4) in their last game. Despite Osby's good performance TLU/Kalev lost 60-73 on the opponent's court to the second-ranked Valga. He was the second best scorer with 12 points. Osby also added 7 rebounds in a mere 15 minutes. It was his first game for TLU/Kalev this season. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Osby's first year with the team. He is a naturalized American. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball. Strangely Osby has never played in DR Congo.

#5. Yannick Bokolo (191-SG-85, currently plays in France) couldn't help Pau-Lacq-Orthez (5-6) in their game against JL Bourg (6-5) in the French ProA. He scored 5 points and added 3 assists. Pau-Lacq-Orthez was defeated 91-82 in Bourg by the higher-ranked JL Bourg (#7). It was Pau-Lacq-Orthez's fourth consecutive loss in a row. It's Bokolo's fourth season with the team. This year Bokolo averages: 2.9ppg, 2.1rpg and 2.1apg. He is another player who holds two passports: DR Congolese and French.

#6. Experienced Wen Boss Mukubu (198-F-83, college: UAB, currently plays in Belgium) contributed to a 2-point Limburg United's victory against the closely-ranked Antwerp Giants 80-78 in the Belgian Euromillions League in Friday night's game.    #8. Moses Ehambe (198-G/F-86, college: ORU, currently plays in Qatar) couldn't help Al Shamal (0-3) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the bottom-ranked Al Shamal was badly defeated 81-65 in a derby game by the leading Al Arabi. Ehambe was the top scorer with 25 points. He also added 6 rebounds in 40 minutes. It was his first game for Al Shamal this season. Ehambe is a naturalized American. Strangely he has never played in DR Congo.

#9. Ruphin Kayembe (200-F/C-92, currently plays in France) couldn't help ALM Evreux in their game against Sluc Nancy in the French ProB (second division). Kayembe recorded only 4 points.
