Eric Kibi
Randers Cimbria Basketball (Ligaen) added to their roster 26-year old Canadian-Congolese forward Eric Kibi (198-104kg-90, college: Abil.Christian).

He played last season at London Lightning in Canadian NBL. Kibi managed to play in three leagues last year. But in 23 NBL Canada games he recorded just 1.7ppg and 2.5rpg. He helped them to win the NBL Central Division title. Kibi also spent pre-season at Strsljen in Erste Liga that year where in four games he averaged 3.8ppg and 5.5rpg. He was also tried-out by Hertener Loewen in ProB that season. In three games he had 4.7ppg, 8.0rpg, 1.3apg and 1.3spg.

The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Kibi was voted Eurobasket.com All-Regionalliga North 2nd Team in 2015.

He has played previously professionally also in Germany (BG Halstenbek/Pinneberg and Rendsburg) and Canada (Ottaway SkyHawks).

Kibi attended Abilene Christian University until 2012 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player.

Randers Cimbria Basketball roster for 2016-2017:
Chris Nielsen
Bonell Colas

Nigeria lost their final group game at the AfroBasket championship 77-83 against DR Congo and will finish second in group A. DR Congo fought their way back in the contest from the third quarter to steal and run away with the two points on offer.
