Orlando Magic strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old Congolese center Bismack Biyombo (206-109kg-92). Deal will be on four years with 72m$ in total. He is not a newcomer in USA League as he played most recently at Toronto Raptors . In 102 NBA games Biyombo recorded 5.7ppg, 8.3rpg and 1.6bpg last season. He helped them to win the Atlantic Division title.
The previous (14-15) season Biyombo played at the Hornets. In 64 NBA games he averaged 4.8ppg, 6.4rpg and 1.5bpg.
In 2011 Biyombo was drafted by Sacramento Kings in first round (7th overall).
He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). Biyombo has played previously professionally in Spain (Baloncesto Fuenlabrada, Getafe and CB Illescas) and Yemen (Al Tilal).

Nigeria lost their final group game at the AfroBasket championship 77-83 against DR Congo and will finish second in group A.
