Etoile Sportive Prisse Macon (NM2) strengthened their roster with addition of 31-year old naturalized Congolese guard Jean-Paul Landu-Bongo (185-85). He has played for the last seven years at St Chamond (ProB). In 32 games he recorded just 2.8ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.0apg last season. Landu-Bongo won French NM1 championship title in 2015.
He has played previously for four other France teams: Paris-Levallois, ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket, Chalons-Reims and Quimper UJAP.

Tunisia's basketball team, African champions, defeated DR Congo's 73-49 at a friendly game played Wednesday in Goulette. The game is part of the national team's warmup for the FIBA World Cup 2019 African qualifiers (Group A) second tournament that will take place in Rades from June 29 to July 1 with the participation of Guinea, Mali and Chad.
