Afyon lands Bambale Osby - Nov 15, 2015

Bambale Osby
Afyonkarahisar Belediye (TBL) landed 29-year old American (has also Congolese passport) center Bambale Osby (203-113kg-86, college: Maryland, agency: Octagon Europe). He already started the season at La Union in Argentinian LigaA. In 12 games he averaged 8.4ppg and 4.2rpg this season. Osby ended the last season at Aix-Maurienne (ProB) in French league. In two games he had 8.5ppg and 9.0rpg. But the most of that year he spent at Socar Petkim. In 33 games he had very impressive stats: 18.8ppg, 9.8rpg and 1.3apg.
The previous (13-14) season Osby played at BC Siauliai (LKL) in Lithuanian league. In 11 games he had 8.1ppg and 4.7rpg in 2013-14 season. He also played 4 games in Baltic League where he had 8.8ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.0bpg in 2013-14 season.
In 12-13 season Osby played at Entente Orleans 45 (ProA) in French league. In 7 games he had 8.4ppg and 2.7rpg in 2012-13 season. He also played 3 games in Eurocup where he had 9.0ppg and 2.3rpg in 2012-13 season.
Among other achievements Osby won Baltic League championship title in 2014. He received also Eurobasket.com All-French ProB 3rd Team award back in 2012.
Osby is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Austria (Gmunden Swans), Estonia (TTU Korvpalliklubi Tallinn), Germany (Phoenix Hagen), Greece, Israel (Ironi Ramat Gan), Puerto Rico (Vaqueros) and Romania (U-Banca Transilvania Cluj and Pitesti).
Osby attended previously one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on he way to pro basketball.
He attended University of Maryland until 2008 and it is his eighth season in pro basketball.

Wen Mukubu extends deal with Limburg United - 15 days ago
Wen Boss Mukubu (198-F-83, college: UAB) has agreed on terms of contract extension with Limburg United. The DR Congolese forward has penned a new two-year deal with the Belgian team. Wen Boss Mukubu started the season with Vichy Clermont in France. He notched 2.0 points and 2.0 boards per game in ProB. Later he moved to Limburg United. His stats read 5.3 points and 3.0 boards per FIBA Europe Cup game. In Belgium League Wen Boss Mukubu delivers 6.6 points and 2.5 rebounds per appearance.   [read more]

Christian Eyenga (ex Openjobmetis V.) signs at Unicaja - 16 days ago
Unicaja Malaga (Liga Endesa) landed 28-year old Congolese small forward Christian Eyenga (201-95kg-89). He moved there from Openjobmetis Varese in Italian Serie A where he played this season. In 29 games he averaged 12.6ppg, 3.5rpg, 1.8apg and 1.2spg. Eyenga ended the last season at Auxilium (also in Serie A). In 12 games he had 9.9ppg, 2.9rpg, 1.3apg and 1.0bpg. Ten years on, and the Democratic Republic of Congo sealed their ticket to the FIBA AfroBasket on Monday thanks to a successful FIBA Africa Zone 4 Group E campaign against the Republic Central Africa (CAF).
