Umea adds Anzuluni to their roster - Aug 13, 2015

Umea BSKT (Basketligan) added to their roster 28-year old Canadian-Congolese forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-97kg-87, college: Houghton, agency: Slan Sports). He played last season at Rostock Seawolves in German ProB. In 32 games he recorded very impressive stats: 21.0ppg, 8.1rpg, 4.2apg and 3.2spg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals. A very spectacular season in his career as he was selected All-German 2.Bundesliga Pro B Forward of the Year and voted to 1st Team and voted to All-Imports Team. The most of previous (2013-14) season Anzuluni spent at Pyrinto (1st Division) in Finnish league. In 28 games he averaged remarkable 24.4ppg, 13.9rpg, 3.4apg and 2.6spg in 2013-14 season. He contributed to his team making it to the semifinals. Great season indeed as he was selected All-Finnish 1st Division Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year and Forward of the Year. Anzuluni also played at Tampereen Pyrinto (Korisliiga) in Finnish league that season. In only one game he had 15 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 5 steals in 2013-14 season. He also played 20 games in Baltic League where he averaged 8.0ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.0apg in 2013-14 season. He contributed to his team making it to the semifinals.
The previous (12-13) season Anzuluni played at Otto Baskets Magdeburg (Regionalliga) in German league. In 21 games he averaged high stats: 17.5ppg, 11.0rpg and 4.2apg in 2012-13 season. He contributed to his team ending the regular season as at the second position in the league. A very good season in his career as he was selected All-German Regionalliga North Defensive Player of the Year and voted to 1st Team.
In 11-12 season Anzuluni played at Legends in U.S. semi-pro league IBA. In 39 games he averaged 6.3ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.2apg in 2011-12 season.
He has played previously professionally in Canada (Kebs de Laval and Moncton Miracles) and IBA (Schenectady L.).
Anzuluni attended Houghton College until 2010 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player.
The scouts decsribe him following way: Anzuluni is an explosive player with great leaping ability.

Jordan Sakho(209-C-97, agency: BeoBasket) has extended his deal with Manresa. The Congolese centre will stay with the team through 2021. Jordan Sakho joined Manresa back in 2016. He tallies 5.6 points, 6.0 rebounds per game in ACB this season. Last season Sakho played for Martorell in EBA where his stats read 7.0 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per appearance. Cafes Candelas Breogan Lugo (LEB Gold) inked 21-year old Congolese international center Herve Kabasele (208-96, agency: Two Points). He also represented DR Congo at the Afrobasket Championships this year.
