Grupo Eule Carrefour El Bulevar de Avila (LEB Silver) confirmed in their roster 20-year old Congolese power forward Tridon Makonda (202-94). He played there last season. In 15 LEB Silver games he recorded just 2.1ppg and 1.7rpg.
The previous (12-13) season Makonda played at La Palma (1 Div.). In 16 games he averaged only 2.6ppg and 3.0rpg in 2012-13 season.
In 2011-12 season he played at Gran Canaria (EBA). Makonda played at the Torneo Citta di Roma International Junior Tournament in 2012.
He has played previously for another Spanish team Herbalife Gran Canaria 2014.
The scouts decsribe him following way: Has a powerful body and some offensive moves almost unstoppable at junior level. He's very promising for the 4 position, needs to improve technique and fundamentals, but can become soon a top player.

Union Sportive Monastir picked up their second win at the 2017 FIBA Africa Champions Cup after overcoming ASB Mazembe 91-67 on Tuesday.
