VAP Kolossos Rodou (A1) signed 27-year old DR Congolese-Congolese power forward Bambale Osby (203-113kg-86, college: Maryland). He already started the season at Entente Orleans 45 in French ProA. In 7 games this season he had 8.4ppg and 2.7rpg. Osby also played 3 games in Eurocup where he recorded 9.0ppg and 2.3rpg. The last season he played at Aix-Maurienne (ProB) in French ProB. In 37 games last year he recorded 14.8ppg, 9.4rpg, 1.2apg and 1.5bpg

He played in the final of Eurobasket Summer League in New York in 2008.
Osby is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Austria (Gmunden Swans), Germany (Phoenix Hagen), Israel (Ironi Ramat Gan) and Romania (U-Mobitelco and Pitesti).
Osby attended University of Maryland until 2008 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player.

26-year old DR Congolese-Congolese power forward Bambale Osby (203-113kg-86, college: Maryland) left Entente Orleans 45 (ProA). In 7 games he played this season he had 8.4ppg and 2.7rpg. Osby also played 3 games in Eurocup where he recorded 9.0ppg and 2.3rpg.

The previous (2011) summer Osby played at Vaqueros in Puerto Rican BSN. In four games he recorded 10.3ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.3apg and 1.0bpg. He also played at TTU Korvpalliklubi Tallinn in Estonian KML that season. In 38 games that year he recorded very impressive stats: 16.4ppg, 10.0rpg, 1.2apg and 1.2bpg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Quite impressive season as he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Estonian League Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year and Forward of the Year. Osby also played 22 games in Baltic League where he was fourth best scorer with impressive 18.6ppg and averaged 12.0rpg (leader !!!), 1.4apg and 1.1bpg. Great season as he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Baltic League Import Player of the Year, Forward of the Year and named to 1st Team.
He played in the final of Eurobasket Summer League in New York in 2008.
