Edmond Koyanouba agreed terms with Myrtia - Jan 15, 2016

BEHAPPY2 - CB Myrtia (EBA) strengthened their roster with addition of 21-year old Chadian center Edmond Koyanouba (207-95). He started the season at Marin PeixeGalego (LEB Silver). But in 10 games he recorded just 0.5ppg and 1.3rpg this season. The most of last season Koyanouba spent at CB Ciudad de Valladolid (LEB Gold). In 16 games he averaged only 1.3ppg and 1.9rpg. He also played at Valladolid earlier that season. In 5 games he averaged 7.6ppg and 7.4rpg.
The previous (13-14) season Koyanouba played at La Sidreria Ferrol CB. In 21 games he averaged 7.7ppg and 7.1rpg in 2013-14 season. He helped his team to make it to the LEB Gold Play-Off Semifinals in 2015.
Marin loaned young big guy to Myrtia until the end of the season.

Cape Verde and Chad get second chance - 2 months ago
West African sides Chad and Cape Verde will have another shot at competing in the upcoming Africa Basketball Championship (AfroBasket) and 2019 World Cup qualifiers after both teams got selected to compete in a special tournament. Cameroon on Thursday ended Chad's FIBA AfroBasket 2017 ambitions thanks to a 70-59 triumph in their capital of Yaounde. It was Cameroon's fourth win in as many games in the FIBA Africa Zone 4 Group D qualifiers.
