The ABC Club defeated late on Wednesday the Bairro for 81-76 and still in the race to retain the title of regional champion in Santiago South basketball title it has held since last season.
In a hard-fought match at the Pavilion Vava Duarte, where the Bairro looking for his third win to take home the title and the ABC looking to force a fourth game was the red team to manage to take the best in the game to achieve victory. In all four periods of play the ABC was in front, but in the third and fourth was the most difficult with Bairro out in the lead and have only lost in the final minutes. The ABC team can make the same game that won the championship last season, when it has missed two games of the final and managed to reverse the result in their favor by defeating the same Bairro in the remaining three games. Next Saturday throws up the fourth match of the final five games of the regional championship of South Santiago basketball, where everything is open. If the ABC win and force the fifth and final game, this final but if the Bairro win, celebrates the title of Santiago South champion of the season 2014/15.
