Gaston
Moliva
ALM Evreux Basket (ProB) tabbed 31-year old Cameroonian ex-international forward Gaston Moliva (202-109kg-85, college: Richmond, agency: Promotex). He played most recently at CRA Hoceima in Moroccan D1 league. He helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team.
The previous (14-15) season Moliva played at SKP Banska Bystrica in SBL where in 28 games he averaged 7.7ppg, 6.1rpg and 1.2apg. He contributed to his team making it to the Slovakian Cup Semifinals.
Among other achievements Moliva received Asia-Basket.com All-Qatari D1 Honorable Mention award back in 2013. He was a member of Cameroonian Senior National Team back in 2011.
Moliva has played previously professionally in Japan (Chiba Jets) and Qatar (Qatar Sports Club).
He attended University of Richmond until 2008 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
Let's have closer look into Moliva's outlook: By being one of the top shot blocker wherever he played since high school, Gaston Moliva has shown his infinite shot blocking skills and proven he is a great defender. Although he is an outstanding shot blocker, it is his overall strength and agility to control the pain both offensively and defensively that is so impressive. Gaston is one of the most professional and hardworking prospects on the market. As a professional, he consistently recorded doubles doubles and his performances have led his previous team to several finals for his career as a professional, he has shown to have all the work ethics and the leadership qualities you would want in a player. However, free throws remain an area that need some improvement.
Important stats as a professional:
Highest points scored: 42 points (2010), Qatar Sports Club against Wakrah Sports Club,
Highest rebounds: 18 (2013)
Highest blocks:9 (2009)
.
