Atletico Echague Parana signed 29-year old Cameroonian international shooting guard Christian Bayang (194-87, agency: Promotex). He played in Cameroonian League last season. Previously, between 2012 and 2014, he played at CRA Hoceima in Moroccan D1 league.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Bayang's team won Moroccan League North Division Regular Season in 2014. He was also voted Africabasket.com All-African Champions Cup 1st Team back in 2010 and 2011.
Bayang represented Cameroon at the Afrobasket Championships in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) three years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 12.1ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.1apg, Steals-1 (3.1spg), FGP: 48.3%, 3PT: 24.5%, FT: 72.0%.
Bayang has played previously professionally in Cameroon (BEAC Yaounde, Phoenix and Condor).
