The Knicks ink JP Tokoto - Aug 2, 2016

New York Knicks agreed terms with 23-year old naturalized Cameroonian forward JP Tokoto (198-91kg-93, college: N.Carolina) to a training camp roster. He played last season at Oklahoma City Blue. In 49 D-League games he had 11.2ppg, 4.1rpg, 2.1apg and 1.5spg. Quite impressive season as he was invited to participate in the D-League All-Star Game Slam Dunk Contest. Tokoto was called during the season by the Philadelphia 76ers.
Last year he was drafted by Philadelphia 76ers in second round (58th overall). The former University of North Carolina standoutis in his second season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Tokoto played in the final of ACC Tournament in 2013 and 2015. He was also voted ACC All-Defensive Team in 2014 at his college time.
