The semifinals
Kader Tapsoba rising
This year, the semifinals between Ouagadougou and Bobo Dioulasso, showed us two big matches
- Kadiogo Bulls#Dafra Rockets
It was the firs team of Ouagadougou against the second team of Bobo Dioulasso; the bulls were favourits; the defences were very hard and we watched a face to face between Pele KONE (bulls) and Ismael SARA (rockets). Every one gave response to the other. It was a three points showtime. The bulls won it in the fourth quarter and won the match.
- ADESIF#RCK
The first team of Bobo Dipoulasso against the second team of Ouagadougou. The first and the second quarter of this match were for ADESIF. Everyone thought that the falcons after losing against the electricians and the bulls were not able to win the semifinal, as they seemed to be so bad this year its was wrong. In the third quarter, they raised up their play. The west league team which seems to be better fell down with 20 points late at the end of the quarter. the falcons got their ticket for the final. Kader Tapsoba, the young center of the team, was the best player. Blocks, dunks he showed us that he is on the way to be one of our best center. During the second tour of the season, he was with Ben Sada, Yves and Telesphore, the players who gave qualification to the RCK.

The Final
Yves ARISTE gave the final to the RCK

The systeme of the Bulls against the one to one play of the falcons.
The last year final gave us the same opposition. The falcons won it. This year, the Bulls seemed to be better and strong; they won the two matches against this team.
The first point was for the Bulls with an assist of Mamadou to Cedric. Innocent Hien of the falcons gave response immediately by an assist to Ismael who scored a Three point shoot. The show can begin bila dunk for the bulls. At this time Yves ARISTE begun his match. In the second quarter, at the beginning, Ben Sada DABIRE hurt himself immediately after taking a substitution. Kader Tapsoba (falcon) did his entry. The play became hard. Momo went out and Yves had to play point guard for his team. At he end of the second quarter, the score was 29-25 for the bulls.
At the third quarter, Kader in the restricted area stopped all the layup. Yves, faster and very technical, played with his defenders and scored. At the end of this quarter, the falcons leaded by 41-34.
The last quarter: Isaac Palenfo (-C) of the bulls has been fouled out; yves speeded up the game; Telesphore SOME, the last year MVP, scored at three points; Kader did the show by rebounds and alley oups; it was the time of the falcons; the shoot at three points of Pele KONE and the substitutions of coach DABIRE (bulls) didnt change anything; the falcons was, for the second time consecutively, the Faso basket champions
