There were two big matches for the first week:
- 2007-04-29, Kadiogo Bulls#AS-Sonabel, Bulls better than the electricians
A very defensive match! It began slowly; After the first quarter, the show took place in the ground! Hermann BELEMLILGA (guard) and Mamadou SAWADOGO (center) gave us a very big battle in the restricted area! With 3 points advance at the half time (19-22), the Bulls drive the game! They defended hard (hurts in the other team)! At the fourth quarter, the electricians had no defence and many turnovers! They gave victory to the bulls!
The highlight of the match was the block of electrician Alain DIASSO (forward) on Pele OUEDRAOGO (forward) at the end of the game: a fast break, the defender coming back; a big block on the board: get back baby! 60-44 for the Bulls! Best scorer Isaac PALENFO (center, bulls) with 15 points!

- 2007-04-30, RCK#AS-Sonabhy, champions fell in season opening
It difficult to say what happened to the last season champion! From the beginning to the end of the match, it has been dominated! A bad warm up, a not so good starting five and 16 points advance for Innocent HIEN (power guard) and RCK at end of first quarter! Coach DAH and his players never find the way to the basket; 19-38 at half time! Aboubacar SARA (forward) and Cyrille TAPSOBA (forward) did their best at fourth quarter to reduce the score!
This match was a shooting contest between Railmen (RCK)! Namory KONE was the best scorer with 24 points (4 shoots at 3 points).
Final score 73-60!
