Weekend games round up - May 21, 2013
In games played this past weekend in the Botswana basketball league, Spartans walloped Warriors 22-95, while in the second game Troopers gave Police another loss by beating them 76-58. In other games Police got back to winning ways by beating Cadets 60-40 while Spartans were able to overpower Dolphins 64-94. In francistown BDF V were able to take two wins beating Splinters 57-53 and also beating Flames 58-37.

League games continue in the Botswana league - May 17, 2013
There will be two games in the Botswana basketball league. The first game sees defending champions Spartans logging horns with new comers Warriors. After last week's loss to Troopers, Spartans will hope to get back to winning ways and Warriors stand in their way of making that happen. The second game pits Troopers against Police. This should be an exciting game as in last season's fixture, Police sneaked a win from Troopers and will now be looking for revenge

Troopers draw first blood in battle of league supremacy - May 13, 2013
In a game which has been building throughout the week, Troopers defeated Spartans 65-53. The game lived up to its billing as the battle of champions. Spartans who beat Troopers in last years finals and also lost twice to them during the season was looking forward to stamp their authority in the game. After the first quarter the game was tied at 21 as it became a game of defensive matchups and offensive efficiency. During the game there was constant lead changes taking place as both teams were hungry to win. During the last two minutes of the game Spartans made some defensive errors which led to Troopers captalising from that and taking the game.
