Yarou
Le Mans Sarthe Basket (ProA) re-signed 26-year old Beninese power forward Mouphtaou Yarou (204-116kg-90, college: Villanova). He has played there for the last two seasons. In 39 ProA games he averaged 9.6ppg and 10.7rpg last season. Yarou helped them to win the cup and make to league semifinals. He can count that season as a very successful as was selected to Eurobasket.com All-French ProA 2nd Team. Yarou also played 9 games in Eurocup where he had 10.4ppg and 9.0rpg (#3 in the league).
Yarou has played also professionally in Serbia (Radnicki 1950 Kragujevac).
He attended Villanova University until 2013 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball.
Let's have closer look into Yarou's outlook: A gifted forward with a throwback approach to the game ... Is an effective post-up performer and relentless rebounder ... Possesses an uncanny feel for the sport. Good hands and shooting touch.
