Celestine Adjanohoun re-elected for a 4 four years term office - Aug 31, 2009

Celestine Adjanohoun was unanimously re-elected as President of Benin Basketball Federation (FBBB) during the Elective General Assembly held on Saturday 29th August 2009 in Cotonou, Benin.
Celestine Adjanohoun, the sole candidate at the post, registered all the 30 votes. The re-elected president promised to build more sports infrastructures, develop the grassroots etc.
Pierre Coffi Tonon has also been re-elected as Secretary General of the federation.
After the various elections held during the General Assembly, the new Executive Board of the Benin Federation is as follows:

Vice-president : Martin Djogui
Secretary general : Pierre Tonon
Assistant Secretary general : Jean-Rolland Ekou
Treasurer general : Wahidi Yessoufou
Assistant Treasurer general: Esae Zkpa

Benin Republic Champions ELAN Sportive- Port Novo cruised to their 2nd win at the FIBA Africa Zone 3 club championship taking place in Lome with a 55-41 points win over AS Nigelec of Niger.
