The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Libolo (23-1) at the home court on Friday night. Hosts were edged by third ranked 1 De Agosto (17-7) 86-83. Defending champion maintains third position in I with 17-7 record having just eighteen point less than leader ASA. Libolo at the other side still keeps top place with one game lost. 1 De Agosto are looking forward to face Progresso (#6) in the next round. Libolo will play against the league's second-placed Petroleos (#2) in Luanda and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Luanda: Interclube (#4) and Petroleos (#2). Petroleos were defeated at home 74-82 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Interclube maintains fourth position in I with 10-14 record. Petroleos at the other side keep the second place with six games lost. Interclube will play against Marinha (#5) in the next round. Petroleos will play against the league's leader Libolo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
