Division I round 6 most important game was a victory of Petroleos over one of their biggest challengers 1 De Agosto 89-81 on Friday night. Petroleos maintains second position with 17-5 record having just sixteen point less than leader Libolo. Defending champion 1 De Agosto keeps the third place with six games lost. Petroleos are looking forward to face Progresso (#5) in the next round. 1 De Agosto will play against Marinha and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
Division I top team - Libolo (22-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Marinha (7-14) 110-71. Undefeated Libolo have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 22-0 record. Marinha lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth place with 14 games lost. Libolo will play against Interclube (#4) in Luanda in the next round. Marinha will play on the road against 1 De Agosto in Luanda and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in supposed to be also quite interesting. One of their biggest challengers Interclube (9-13) played at the court of sixth ranked Progresso (8-13). Progresso did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 91-71 on Friday. Progresso moved-up to fifth place. Interclube at the other side keeps the fourth position with 13 games lost. Progresso will meet league's second-placed Petroleos in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Interclube will play against the league's leader Libolo and hope to secure a win.

Parma Basket Perm (VTB) agreed terms with 26-year old Angolan ex-international center Yanick Moreira (211-100kg-91, college: SMU). He played last season at Naft Abadan in Iranian Superleague.
