What a coincidence that all visitors won their games.

Fifth-ranked Marinha (7-13) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked Petroleos (16-5) on Saturday. The visitors from Luanda managed to secure only one-point victory 82-81. However their fans expected easier game. Petroleos maintains second place in I with 16-5 record having just fourteen point less than leader ASA. Marinha at the other side keeps the fifth position with 13 games lost. Petroleos' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Luanda to the arena 1 De Agosto.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Luanda: 1 De Agosto (#3) and Interclube (#4). Interclube was defeated at home 72-77 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Defending champion maintains third place in I with 16-5 record having just fourteen point less than leader ASA. Interclube at the other side keeps the fourth position with 12 games lost. 1 De Agosto's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Luanda Petroleos.
Division I top team - Libolo (21-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they beat sixth ranked Progresso (7-13) 82-64. Libolo maintains first place in I with 21-0 record. Loser Progresso keeps the sixth position with 13 games lost. Libolo will meet at home Marinha (#5) in the next round.
