1 de Agosto team, third placed with 22 points, will receive on Friday the Petro de Luanda squad, being that the main highlight of the 15th round of the first division National Basketball Championship (Bic Basket), a game that is to be played in Victorino Cunha pavillion, in Luanda. 1 de Agosto, who will be playing at home, will try to do better than in the first leg encounter, in which they lost 97-86.
On their turn, Petro de Luanda are definitely inspired and geared up by the wins in the last two games. The 16th round, to be disputed on Saturday, will have as main highlight the encounter between Recreativo do Libolo and 1 de Agosto. Still on Saturday, Vila Clotilde will face ASA, while Petro de Luanda will Play Universidade Lusiada. Interclube and Progresso do Sambizanga will also face off on the same day.

Recreativo do Libolo earned the third consecutive win in the BIC Finals. They edged Petroleos 106:103 on the road to move closer to the title. Olimpio Cipriano (194-F-82) stepped up with 26 points to lead the winners. Petroleos and Libolo stayed close throughout the game. Libolo edge Petroleos to take 2-0 lead in title series - 9 days ago
Libolo celebrated the second straight victory in the BIC Basket Finals. They rallied past Petroleos 87:85 to take 2-0 lead. Milton Barros (184-PG-84) stepped up with 20 points to pace the winners. Petroleos looked better in the first half. They grabbed a 50:42 halftime lead. But Libolo bounced back in the second part of the game.
