The management of Petro de Luanda claim to have valid work contract for this season with the basketball player Emmanuel Quezada (188-PG-85, college: USF), who is, since last Wednesday, the player of 1 de Agosto. In a statement made public Friday on the club website, the petroleum team reassure their members and supporters, explaining that the Dominican Republic base, of American nationality, still has contractual link with this club, which were crowned national and African champions of 2014/2015 season. "The Directorate of Atletico Petroleos de Luanda learned through the media that the athlete Emmanuel Manny Quezada has signed a contract for two years with one of our opponents. The team informs its members, supporters and the general public that the athlete has a valid employment contract for this season," reads the document.
