Clube Recreativo e Desportivo do Libolo (Division I) tabbed 31-year old American power forward Andre Harris (201-107kg-85, college: Fair Dickinson). He played most recently at Muratbey Usak Sportlif Basketbol in Turkish BSL league. In 32 games he averaged 9.0ppg and 3.8rpg last season.
The previous (14-15) season Harris played at JDA Dijon in ProA where in 34 games he had 11.0ppg, 4.1rpg, 1.4apg and 1.1spg. He helped them to make it to the French Cup Semifinals. Harris also played 16 games in Eurocup where he recorded 10.4ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.2apg.
Among other achievements his team made it to the ProA Semifinals in 2014. Harris received also Eurobasket.com All-French ProA Honorable Mention award in 2014.
He is a very experienced player. Harris has played also professionally in Holland (Bergen op Zoom), Israel (Kiryat Tivon and Hapoel Afula), France (Saint-Etienne and Lille Metropole) and USBL (Brooklyn K.).
He attended Fairleigh Dickinson University until 2007 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.
Let's have closer look into Harris' outlook: Andre is a rugged force around the paint and will have an excellent European career. He is the king of double doubles and he has a nice perimeter jump shot combines with his power inside game.
