Libolo lands Je'Kel Foster, ex Manresa - Sep 8, 2016

Clube Recreativo e Desportivo do Libolo (Division I) landed 33-year old American guard Je'Kel Foster (194-83, college: Ohio State, agency: Inception Sports). He played most recently at ICL Manresa in Spanish Liga Endesa. In 13 games he averaged 10.3ppg, 2.8rpg, 3.5apg and 1.5spg last season. Foster also played that season for Guaros in LPB where in 10 games he had 4.9ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.1apg.
Among other achievements he was selected to German Bundesliga All-Star Game back in 2007 and 2011.
Foster is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in four different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Foster has played previously professionally in Belgium (Spirou Charleroi), France (Paris-Levallois and JSF Nanterre), Italy (Scandone Avellino and Vanoli Cremona) and Germany (ALBA Berlin, EnBW Ludwigsburg, BBC Bayreuth, Bayern Muenchen and EWE Baskets).
He attended Ohio State until 2006 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Foster is described as: Euroleague experienced guard and seasoned veteran that is a threat at both ends of the floor.

Angolan men's team face Lithuania in China tournament - 14 days ago
The Angolan national senior men's basketball team are playing this Thursday Lithuania in the second round of the international tournament, taking place in China, Radio 5 reported. The Angolan squad, managed by Manuel Silva, defeated on Wednesday the host nation (China) by 78-70, when at halftime they were already winning the game by 39-30. Sampaense Basket (Proliga) signed 31-year old Angolan guard Edson Ferreira (183-86). He played last season at Ipswich Tomcats in British NBL D2. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Ferreira's team made it to the Angolan Cup final in 2013. He has played on three different continents (Europe, Africa and of course North America).
