Petro de Luanda sweep the championship series, clinch the title - Apr 26, 2021

Petro de Luanda have swept the League Finals beating Interclube 3-0. In the third game they posted an 87-82 win to gran the trophy. Aboubakar Gakou (201-F-97) was elected the Most Valuable Player of the 43rd edition of the National Senior Males Basketball Championship. In Game 3 Aboubakar Gakou achieved a double-double, scoring 14 points and capturing 11 rebounds. Carlos Morais (200-G-85, agency: Duran International) and Gilson Bango both took two individual prizes home each. The first with the titles of best scorer of the championship and best three points scorer, while the second was the best rebounder.

Petro de Luanda beat 1 de Agosto 76-75 to clinch SuperCup title - Jan 12, 2021

Petro de Luanda won Wlademiro Romero Super cup last Saturday in Kilamba Multipurpose Pavilion, after beating 1 de Agosto 76-75. In the first half of the match, which opened 2020/21season, Petro de Luanda were winning eight points (46-38). The result enabled the winners to add eighth trophy, in a list led by 1 de Agosto with 13.

1 de Agosto clinch Cup title - May 30, 2021

1 de Agosto overcame Interclube 100-98 in the Final game of the Cup. 1 de Agosto grabbed the trophy in a real thriller at the Multiusos da Kilamba. Pedro Bastos (191-G-93) top-scored for the winners with 23 points and 9 assists. Glofate Buiamba (197-F-99, agency: Promotex) replied with 22 points and 9 rebounds in the losing effort.
It is the 16th cup in Angola won by 1 de Agosto, the fourth against Interclube, after the 2003, 2012 and 2019 editions.
