Groupe Sportif Petrolier overcame Union de Setif to celebrate Algerian Basketball Cup 2017 title. In the Final game they posted a 62-52 victory to win the 7th consecutive title. Early in 2010 season TBB Blida became the winner of the Algerian Cup. Earlier in the semifinals Groupe Sportif Petrolier beat NB Staoueli 75-56. Union de Setif meanwhile edged CRB Dar El Beida 64-62.
