D1 Round 16: #1 NAH Dey is defeated by GS Petroliers - Feb 1, 2016

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked NAH Dey (13-3) in Alger on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by top-ranked GS Petroliers (12-0) 85-68. It ended at the same time the 13-game winning streak of NAH Dey. Undefeated GS Petroliers have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 12-0 record behind leader NAH Dey. NAH Dey at the other side still keeps top place with three games lost.
Bottom-ranked Oran (0-16) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 16th consecutive match to fourth ranked Arreridj (12-4) 60-58. Arreridj maintains fourth position with 12-4 record. Newly promoted Oran still closes the standings.
An interesting game took place in Constantine where 10th ranked Skikda (4-11) was upset on the court of thirteenth ranked Constantine (4-12) 72-60 on Friday. Constantine moved-up to twelfth place. Loser Skikda dropped to the eleventh position with 11 games lost.
Third ranked CRB Dar El-B. (12-2) crushed at home 9th ranked WA Boufarik (5-10) by 18 points 68-50, which is the biggest margin this round. CRB Dar El-B. have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 12-2 record behind leader NAH Dey. WA Boufarik at the other side keeps the ninth place with ten games lost.

In the last two games of round 16 Miliana lost to Staoueli on the opponent's court 67-82. USM Blida managed to outperform Eleulma in a home game 66-61.

Arreridj - Oran 60-58

Bottom-ranked Oran (0-16) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 16th consecutive match to fourth ranked Arreridj (12-4) 60-58. Arreridj maintains fourth position with 12-4 record. Newly promoted Oran still closes the standings.
