Egypt is set to face Mali on their final game in the first round. Both teams are playing with the youngest two rosters in the championship.

The main strength in Mali is that they know how to go a lot to the free throw line converting 75% of them. This makes Mali the second best team in free throw shooting after Cape Verde.

Center Drissa Ballo who plays for the second division club Toulon in France played a solid game against Cameroon scoring 5 out of 6 field goals in the paint.

Egypt would play much more time zone defence against a team which only made a couple of three pointers against Cameroon from a total of 17 attempts. Their best shooter is forward Boubacar Moungoro who plays for 3rd division club Getafe in Spain.

Coach Marei is expected to spread the minutes with close intervals between all 12 players on his roster.

If Egypt wins today they would face Zimbabwe in the round of 16 knock out stage.
