1 De Agosto triumph in Angolan Final at the African Champions Cup. They overcame Petroleos 80:69 for the first place at the tournament.

Petroleos won the first appearance at the group stage and started the game with 17-16. 1 De Agosto meanwhile won the rest of the quarters. Reggie Moore (203-PF-81, college: ORU) top-scored for the winners with 23 points and 10 rebounds, while Carlos Almeida (193-G/F-76) canned 15. Joaquim Gomes (200-C/F-80, college: Valparaiso) and Cedric Isom (188-G-84, college: E.Texas Baptist) delivered 11 each, whilst Adilson Baza (185-C-86) posted 10. Carlos Morais (193-G-85) and Parfait Bitee (188-G-85, agency: Interperformances, college: Rhode Island) replied with 23 points in the losing effort, while Leonel Paulo (197-F-89) had 8. 1 De Agosto made 44 Rebounds versus 33 from the opponents. Both teams made the total of 10 assists in the game.
